Hi my name is John Barry and I completed my apprenticeship by running disco’s through the 1970’s and I now have a massive collection of all original recordings from the 1950’s right up to date.
John Barry Music all started as a hobby for a music lover which quickly developed into one of the most popular discos in Lincolnshire in the 1970’s. Playing to packed audiences throughout Lincolnshire at various venues such as Lincoln Fire Station, Lincoln Drill Hall, Yarborough School in Lincoln, Students Union in Lincoln, King Edward VI Grammar School in Louth, Young Farmers throughout Lincolnshire and many more.
Maybe the most important part of any disco is the music.
My catalogue of all those great original recordings with such diversity is absolutely unique. This diversity and my genuine love of all music has driven me to collect seek out the very best disco tunes that most others have forgaotten about. My experience has given me the ability to read a crowd and instinctively know what they want. Owning this catalogue of over 12,000 genuine recordings from the 1950’s right up to date ensures I will always have the right songs for the right occasion. |
